Wayfinder - Frostmarch Farm House Set

For Frostmarch, my task was to create a set of Farm Houses, that are both intact and destroyed, as they are used in both instances within the environments. All of them have interiors too (with the interior/exterior meshes being seperate). I worked on creating the hay roof texture and meshes, which took a couple of iterations to get right. In the end, I made several modular chunks of roofs (made of a tiling texture, a trim for the cut off parts and hay strands for fluffiness), that I assembled together into the bigger shapes, since we had quite unique designs for them. The initial tests were visual targets I made, which I then worked on to keep in the final levels as low as possible, with the visuals slightly changing, but still retaining the overall shape.
Same assets were used to create the broken variants too. Fun fact: Making these type of houses was one of my first tasks at Airship, however those were shelved for a while, until we worked on the Frostmarch Biome, where I re-used a lot of the assets made for those older sets (such as the tiling wood and hay textures but also first versions of the wooden logs, that Alex later reworked to use across Frostmarch.)

For the broken variants, I wanted to make sure that they can be all kitbashed into each other for different variants, both with the intact and broken ones.

The windows, doors, chimneys and a couple of the rocks for fillers are also made by me.

The wall and floor texture of the house were also made by me with a final painting pass done by Anaïs Faure. The other assets such as the logs, wooden beams and other stone trims are made by Seth Baldwin and Alex Iveroth.
